When the Squirrel Sings review
“When the Squirrel Sings” is an endearing tale about the antics of a little squirrel and some of his animal friends. The squirrel explains what happens in a typical day. For example, he likes to collect acorns, but also one of his favorite things is to watch children playing in the yard. Incorporated in the story are other animals and the types of “music” they make. Young children will see woodpeckers, dandelions, worms, and more little creatures and find out what they like to do. Do you know what the squirrel likes best? Watching you play outside. It’s a lovely book for children to show them the beautiful things in nature and to encourage them to explore the outdoors.
